There is so much learning in all areas of school life that impact on the whole child and together help to develop them.
Visual Arts and Music are studied by our children throughout the entire school year. A specialist Music teacher and a specialist Visual Arts teacher use the structure of the Australian Curriculum along with their own skills and talents and the interests of the children to engage the children in these subjects. The children are capable of producing beautiful work putting into action the Character Strength of 'Appreciation of Beauty and Excellence'.
Drama and Dance at St Mary's Memorial Schools utilises specialist instructors as a focus for one term each. The children enjoy moving their bodies and using their imaginations in these two unique curriculum areas.
